10 years of brave resistance

In 2014, the russian aggression against Ukraine began, but until 2022, russians did not acknowledge their military presence in Ukraine. On February 24, 2022, russia initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, which continues to this day.
It is impossible to assess and comprehend the scale of all the losses inflicted by Russians on Ukraine in the last 10 years. Tens of thousands of civilians and military personnel have lost their lives, countless have been injured, subjected to torture and rape, thefts of various scales, families and cities have been destroyed, childhoods stolen, animals and plants killed, over 174 thousand square kilometers of Ukrainian land mined, the outflow of the working population abroad, and the deepening economic crisis. It is also impossible to calculate all the consequences of Russian military aggression that Ukraine and the world will face in the future.

All tall buildings in the town were damaged by Russian aerial bombing in Borodyanka in February-March 2022.
After the Russian occupation, people lived in such an environment for 1.5 years until Borodyanka began the dismantling of destroyed buildings. This process started in 6 towns in the Kyiv region, but in many towns, especially in the conflict zone, it is impossible to carry out due to ongoing Russian attacks on Ukraine and daily loss of Ukrainian lives.

Entire families in these cars were shot by russian military forces.
russians in Ukraine violate all human rights: the right to life, dignity, freedom, bodily integrity...
On their way to Kyiv in February 2022, the capital of Ukraine, russian troops occupied towns in the Kyiv region. Bucha is one of them. Local civilians were tortured, raped, and randomly killed on the streets. In the center of Bucha, the russians created a mass grave near the church. After their expulsion by Ukrainian armed forces, the world witnessed the results of the endless cruelty of the russians. Many people could not be identified after exhumation.
In these pictures, you can see the graves of these unidentified people. T
he graves have no names, only numbers.

During the occupation of Borodyanka, Russians, demonstrating hatred towards Ukrainians, shot the head off the monument of the prominent Ukrainian poet and philosopher Taras Shevchenko.

"And glory to you, blue mountains" (Excerpt from the poem "Caucasus").

And glory to you, blue mountains,
Wrapped in ice!
And to you, great knights,
Not forgotten by God.
Fight – you will overcome!
God is helping you!
For you, truth, for you, glory,
And sacred freedom!

For 10 years, Ukrainians have bravely resisted the Russian onslaught. We thank the world for the support, but the war continues, right now.
On February 24, 2024, marches of Ukrainians for the peace in Ukraine will take place worldwide. Please join the march in your country or city. We still need solidarity and actions.
#standwithUkraine
And we still need weapons, a lot of weapons, for Europe and the world to have a peaceful and happy future.

Glory and prosperity to Ukraine!
Best regards, Kateryna Mostova
